Don’t Be a Dikshit

I brought this up with friends last night and was met with just a tad of well-founded skepticism; after all, gems like this don’t come along very often. But in all seriousness, boys and girls, a man by the name of Anurag Dikshit, founder and former director of PartyGaming PLC, pled guilty yesterday to illegal Internet gambling (least surprising crime ever). He will forfeit $300 million, which he has, since Dikshit happens to be a babillionaire. (It’s a technical term, don’t get caught up in the jargon).
I have to believe the dude (who is married by the way - that means there are two little Dikshits wandering around out there) had no choice but to become rich by any means possible, as part of a much longer laundry list of life accomplishments needed to keep him from committing suicide - or perhaps less dramatically, getting a legal name change. Any judge or jury would, I hope, look at least a little more mercifully on the crimes of Anurag Dikshit than they would John Smith. After all, justice is blind, but bitch can still hear.
