Respect Authority

The Internet is home to more than a few of pop culture’s little “gotchas,” which are totally unrelated to Tamagotchis. Tamagotchis, conversely, are one of the instances where pop culture can say “gotcha” to us, the force-fed drones of an eager consumer society. Seriously… they sold them to us as the newest craze in entertainment, when the principle activity was just shaking the fucking thing. The outcome: an entire generation of children with extraordinarily developed whack-off muscles and nothing to do with them except… well…

No one deals like we do.

I’m not sure if this is from the lost Star Trek: Petrified Dildos From Space miniseries or if Captain Kirk was caught going through Chekov’s personal belongings again, but the real question it begs is if there is such a thing as continuity editors, where the hell are the “oh shit, the talent’s holding a large stone phallus again” editors? Maybe there’s work for me in Hollywood yet.
