Respect Authority

According to the Associated Press’ “British Band Oasis Launching New Album on MySpace,” the musical quintet is putting their newest masterpiece on the world’s most annoying social-networking site a week before its in-store release. 

If AP had anyone born in the last 30 years on staff, they would know the real headline here is just “Oasis Launching New Album” since as far as I knew, all those guys were dead. (With an anticipated two tour dates in Mexico City, they might as well be).

Fun Fact: The album is called “Dig Out Your Soul.” I wonder if that means from pop culture oblivion.
